A small
manifesto.

Five lines I keep returning to. The rules I'm building by, in public, while I'm still figuring it out.

Understand the silicon.

The model runs on physics. Transistors, gates, cache lines, GPU warps. You can't truly master the upper layers until you respect what's underneath them. Skip this and you'll be forever cargo-culting.

Master the neural net.

Read the papers. Reproduce them. Break them. Don't outsource your understanding to an API. The best engineers of this era will be the ones who can both use the tool and explain how the tool works.

Build the embodied mind.

Intelligence that moves is the next chapter. Robotics, agents in the wild, sim-to-real — theory meets friction, friction teaches truth. This is where the future gets interesting.

Document everything.

Not for clout. Not for the algorithm. Because teaching is the fastest way to learn — and because somewhere, someone is a few weeks behind me and needs the map. Build-in-public is a discipline, not a tactic.

Stay a beginner.

The day you think you've arrived is the day you start falling behind. Reserve deliberate space to be wrong, often and quickly. Curiosity is a renewable resource — use it generously.

I don't know what I'll be building
five years from now.

But I know how I'll be building:
understand, then master, then build.

Repeat until science fiction is real.
